Third Wheel Project
Chris Snyder | Realtor, Musician & Creative Founder
Chris Snyder is a Minnesota and Western Wisconsin-based real estate professional, musician, and creative entrepreneur whose work bridges storytelling, media, and community.
Raised in Alaska, Chris began playing music at age seven. Self-taught and artistically driven, his musical journey has taken him around the world — from quiet coffee shops in Alaska to international stages including Vatican City. In 2008, he founded Third Wheel Project (TWP), originally a collaborative band and now a multi-faceted creative collective spanning genres from Reggae and Folk Rock to Roots and Blues.
Today, TWP has evolved into a creative powerhouse — producing professional audio and video content using modern camera systems, drone cinematography, and advanced live and studio recording capabilities. What began as a band has grown into a full-scale creative engine supporting artists, events, and brands through high-level media production.
In real estate, Chris partners with Nicole Strobel as co-founder of the Snyder & Strobel Realty Group, serving clients throughout the Twin Cities, St. Croix River Valley, and Western Wisconsin. Together, they combine strategic marketing, strong negotiation, and high-quality visual media — including professional photography, video walkthroughs, and drone work — to help homes stand out in competitive markets.
Chris is also the co-founder of Fungi Fest, a family-friendly spring music and mushroom festival in Western Wisconsin celebrating morel season along the 45th Parallel. What began as a small gathering of friends has grown into a beloved annual event featuring multiple stages, foraging workshops, and a thriving creative community.
Musically, Chris performs with Firewater Gospel Choir, known for its high-energy, revival-style Americana performances. He also fronts the trio Snyder & The Messenger, featuring the wickedly talented blues guitarist Messenger Mike — whose dynamic playing brings grit, soul, and fire to the project’s roots-driven sound.
Whether marketing homes or building stages, Chris approaches both with the same philosophy: tell a compelling story, build authentic relationships, and create something lasting.
At the core of it all is a simple belief — strong communities are built through connection, creativity, and a little bit of bold vision.
